| #1 | NATIONAL DATA MAPS: Shows you where the Fronts are located. The "L's" which are associated with unsettled weather and the "H's" which are normally associated with fair conditions. |
| #2 | NATIONAL PRECIPITATION RADAR: The Radar maps show where there's water action going on: whether it's liquid (rain) or solid (snow/sleet); the intensity and warning boxes (yellow box= thunder storm; red box= tornado). |
| #3 | JET STREAM MAP: This strong current of air pushes weather systems around the world and greatly affects local weather patterns by propelling them forward. Shows you which direction the "L's" & "H's" are being pushed. |
| #4 | NATIONAL TEMPERATURES: These maps show the current "surface" temperature. (Important to know, i.e. if there's rain action in your area and the surface temperature is at or below freezing you will experience sleeting or icing and in reverse: if there's snow action in your area but the surface temperature is above freezing chances are the precipitation will reach the ground as liquid). And shows tomorrow's predicted high temperature. |
